Throughout the case, Diamond Foods ended up falling into the temptation of committing an illegal act that would later result in consequences as in performing any type of fraud by any company at the end. To reach the bonuses and goals desired the entire set of higher managements such as the CEO and CFO were related with the fraud that was done by the unethical performance of its accounting personnel. Going against the Securities & Exchange Commission, the company decided to commit fraud related with the Earnings per share financial information which would lead to the misleading of the fraudulent actions leading to the final examination of the unethical practices. The fraud was related with the payment method that was finalized to the laborers throughout the business transactions. These illegal acts would be performed to reach the goals by the management and it would be an obligation for them to be reached no matter what.
