Mechanics is the conventions of written language. English language has so many words that either sounds alike with different meaning or words that have the same spelling. To be able to spell words that are hard to pronounce, it is advisable to use dictionary regularly in other to be able to spell properly. Also if you use dictionary regularly you would be able to know, under what kind of conditions to use the words that have same spellings but have different meaning in sentences. In English language, there are things called spelling rules and exception. In the rules there are things called prefix and suffix they help in giving more meaning to words. Prefix is words written at the beginning of the original word to give it more meaning. In the case of suffix the reverse is the case words are written at the end of the original words to add to the meaning of the word. In English language
