The Chevreul Illusion is a staircase illusion. There are four gray rectangles in different shades placed side by side. There is difference in perception of light which is how the illusion is seen. The lightness and darkness of the borders is how light is being perceived. There is darkness between B and C which points out the staircase illusion.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
