MNCs and globalization go hand-in-hand. After reading this week's lesson, find an MNC and describe ways it has been a good citizen or a bad citizen. Good Morning Professor Watts and fellow classmates, Multinational corporations (MNC) are those corporations that not only operate and have a presence in their country of origin, but also are located in other countries (APUS n.d). They are in more than one nation (multi-national). While the language concept is straightforward, the dynamics and operational functioning of these types of corporations is very complex. Multinationals corporations expand operations such as production or management around the world and move industrial (i.e., manufacturing, engineering) plants from one nation to another. These types of MNC might have a global vision of the economy in its scope of work. They operate for the entire world, and their customers are markets, countries, companies, organizations, all over the planet. Being multinational corporations, they consider the entire world as their possible market, and they act and move about it. (Investopedia 2018) The Multinational corporation I selected is The Coca-Cola Company. This Atlanta, Georgia headquartered MNC was clearly born 8 May, 1886 with the creation of its main product, also called Coca-Cola. The story of one of the most popular drinks in the entire world began by accident. Pharmacist John S. Pemberton invented its formula when he tried to create a syrup to fight digestive problems.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
