Explain the health benefits of eating the vegetables that they’re planting Key Words: Calcium, fertilize, seed, sprout, water, nutrition   Materials: Provided by LFS 250 students: Pens/markers to label eggs Extra empty eggshell halves, rinsed Extra pre-cut egg cartons (to hold eggshell halves) Seed-starting mix, 5 cups Aluminum pan (for soil)  x 1 Plastic spoons (for scooping soil) x 4-5
