Why do you say that? Name your selection and explain why you chose that as the company philosophy. Production Sales Market Societal Explanation: We chose societal because the founders of the company came up with a solution to the harsh chemicals used in common cleaners. This solution helps impact society in a positive way as it helps the environment and makes people more conscientious about what goes into the environment through their daily habits. 2. Write the METHOD firm’s Mission Statement METHOD strives to inspire a healthy, happy home through progressive domestics. 3. What were some consumer needs or consumer insights that Eric Ryan and Adam Lowry realized about the existing, traditional home cleaning products that motivated them to create METHOD cleaning products? Some insights were people that were concerned with environmental issues. A lot of products don’t work and cost too much, so they wanted to change that stigma as well. There was a trend with the style of the homes and how they were taking care of it. Part of what consumers see is the design of the bottle. Many common cleaning products are very similar in design, so a lot was spent on the design of the bottle and photography. They have used innovation to change the way people clean their house, for example, with the dishwasher soap, the opening at the bottom made it easier for people to clean dishes. Clean has become so dirty because of all the harmful toxins and chemicals in them. 4. Describe the TARGET market. Describe METHOD customers from a psychographic, attitudinal standpoint. What do you think they care about or value?
