Company Category Background - Find your company website and examine the portfolio of brands offered within your assigned team category. Research online US trend for your team category’s growth. Is it growing? declining? Research online how category sales are doing for your particular company of interest in the US. Then answer the following questions: List key brands offered by your company within your assigned category in the US ie L’Oréal mascara brands in US include Maybelline, L’Oreal, Lancome etc… or P&G deodorant brands in US include Gillette, Old Spice, Secret etc…. -Deodorant brands made by Proctor and Gamble include Secret (the only deodorant for women), Old Spice, And Gillette In the US has your assigned category sales been growing, declining and why? ie Hair colorant sales in US are growing due to aging demographics ( grey coverage) and a trend among young people to try out new colors and looks. There has been marginal growth in deodorant sales. It was very popular when it originally came out and has been viewed as a societal norm. More recently in the past year, with more people choosing not to conform to the norms, the growth has slowed down, but is still growing. In the US at your particular company has your assigned category sales been growing, declining and why?
