3-1 HOMEWORK ACTIVITY: MODULE THREE 2 3-1 Homework Activity: Module Three Personal Trainer, Inc. is a fitness center that owns and operates dozens of buildings within the metropolitan Midwest. Personal Trainer, Inc. is now looking to expand internationally by developing a new supercenter in Toronto (Frechette, 2018). Currently, all fitness centers use accounting software, BumbleBee, to store limited information on its members (Frechette, 2018). BumbleBee is limited in its functionality to serve its current base including the upcoming supercenter. To help implement this expansion, an IT consultant, Susan Park, was hired to develop a new system for the future center. Susan will be working closely with Gary Lewis, the manager of this new center (Frechette, 2018). Approach The approach for defining this new system is based off a fact-finding methodology that Susan used. Susan collected information about the current system by conducting a series of interviews, observing business operations, reviewing records, and analyzing the BumbleBee software (Tilley & Rosenblatt, 2017). As a system analyst, she should gather as much information as possible because it will help her visualize and describe the needs of the new system. This analysis will allow her to develop a system requirement checklist for the new system. This document will present management with all the requirements for developing a new
