After you have paraphrased or supplied information taken either from your primary or secondary source put a footnote at the end of the sentence, after the punctuation. 1 See the example footnote below. Beware: you MUST CITE any and all information that you learned from your sources, even if you do not directly quote it. Not citing is technically plagiarism and will lead to a failing grade and potential disciplinary action. The first time you cite a source, include all the bibliographic information.
