Using DSO3000 Oscilloscopes by PC The oscilloscopes in laboratory can be used via its software named DSO3000. This paper presents a step-by-step guide to use it. 1. Run DSO3000.exe under the folder C:\Program Files\3000 Series Connection. 2. When the software is opened three sub-windows should appear. One is to list table of sampled data seen on oscilloscope screen at each, one is to analyze parameters of waveform such as max value RMS value, e.g., and one is to observe waveform. 3. To configure the oscilloscope, open options windows. There you should see three type of connection types. Choose GPIB since all the devices are connected to computer through that interface. 4. Now connect button can be pressed to build up connection with the scope. When connection between PC and scope is set, scope takes itself into remote mode, and its buttons does not function. It can only be used through software. When oscilloscope is in remote mode there will be a RMT sign at the top left of oscilloscope screen.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
