Middle East Technical University - NCC EEE202 - Circuits Theory II Laboratory 1 EXPERIMENT 1 MISCELLANEOUS OP-AMP CIRCUITS Objective Some op-amp circuits, namely an independent current source, a negative resistance converter, a grounded inductor (gyrator), and a sinusoidal oscillator are studied. Preliminary Work 1. Obtain information and summarize your work on independent current source, negative resistance converter, gyrator and sinusoidal oscillator circuits given in Figures 1, 2, 3 and 4. 2. Consider the following independent current source circuit: a. Using LT Spice obtain driving point (V-I) characteristics of the one-port (one-terminal) circuit given in Figure 1. (Hint, you need to use DC Sweep to sweep voltage source connected to terminal and measure terminal current for varying terminal voltage.) b. Using LT Spice connect a resistor R L across the one-port, and find the maximum value of the resistance for which the one-port still functions as an independent current source.

### What students are saying

• As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

• I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

• The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
