Professor Samuels Pol – 1 – 31163 22 January 2018 Jack Abramoff Analysis Jack meant that people working on Capitol Hill were offered to come work as lobbyists on K Street. To get inside to do his work he would offer staff members jobs before they even finished their assignment. Once they accepted the position, they would essentially do whatever was requested by Abramoff’s company. The relationship between members of Congress and lobbyists is along the lines of, “I’ll scratch your back if you scratch mine.” This means that Abramoff would give favors to members of the Congress and Senators like comped dinners, private jets, vacations, golfing passes, or tickets to sporting events such as football. In return, he would prepare confused written language laws and slip them into bills. Bob didn’t know what they meant but signed anyways. Indians paid millions and tax, or law breaks were given in return.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
