UNIT 2: ASSIGNMENT 2 Chapter 3: Biddy's Bakery Case (page 94).  Answer all 5 questions 1) Explain the challenge Elizabeth faced in meeting her capacity needs. What should  she have considered before moving into the larger facility? The challenge Elizabeth has in meeting her capacity needs in the first building came  from not having enough space to be able to accommodate their growth and with the  larger building she wasn’t able to create enough business to use the extra space.  Before moving into the larger building, she should have considered include the changes in demand for their products and to see if it was worth going into a larger building or  cost effective to stay where they were by using the break-even analysis. Biddy did not  do any analysis or testing before making the jump to a larger building.  2) What is wrong with the proposal made by the team of business students? Why? The team completely suggests that Biddy change her entire operation by changing her  current strategy from a mixture of assemble-to-order and made-to-order strategies to a  straight make-to-stock strategy which could definitely change her business possibilities.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
