FINAL PROJECT MILESTONE ONE: TOPIC SELECTION Final Project Milestone One: Topic Selection Life on earth is difficult. All animals have their difficulties with survival. From a Darwinian standpoint, competition is the most important part of survival. Animals bully for some of the same reasons that humans do, but the result is the same: winnowing out of the weak. Now that humans can eat, live and reproduce without physically competing, we still feel the instinct to compete. Bullying is the most primal competitive urge that we have. No one (except a criminal) would knock down a weaker person and take his food, but other types of bullying are more subtle and difficult to control. Some people believe that one can do anything that there is no law specifically against. These people are often bullies (Pascoe, 2013).

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
