First Draft Worksheet Instructions: Copy and paste the following text into a document or create a document that contains the same information. Using your essay in response to the unit's writing prompt, complete the following steps to improve your essay. Introduction 1. Insert your introductory paragraph with your central claim. Include any revisions your instructor asked you to make. Brutus was a patriot to his country of Rome. He did all he could to help his home because he cared for it. Although some people think that Brutus killing Caesar was an act of treachery and plotting to kill him with others was a bad act he did in the name Rome. Many things happened which caused him to do those things and all in the name of Rome. Idea Development 2. Write the body and conclusion of your argument in the space below. In the debate of whether Brutus was a patriot or a Traitor I take the stance that he was a patriot, but others believe he was a traitor. One argument that might be brought up was that he plotted against Caesar to kill him. Even though he did plot against Caesar he did it because he saw him as unfit to rule Rome and knew that he would bring Rome’s downfall. They might also say that he Killed Caesar with others. Some see him as a traitor, but he did a bad deed to save what he cared so much for. He killed a good friend of his just to help Rome and that’s an act of a patriot.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
