A Look at Race Relations Through a Child’s Eyes (CNN) watch entire video 1. How did Dr. Melanie Killen assess children’s implicit attitudes about race? Showed pictures asking what the children thought was going on and changed the pictures and asked the same questions. The pictures were reversed in the skin color but not what is going on with the image. 2. What were examples of racism the kids described from 1:30-3:30? Because their mom would not be ok with them having different color skin. Because their parents don’t what them around. 3. Describe the children and schools where CNN (and Dr. Melanie Killen) tested. They tested 145 kids in 6 schools spread across 3 states. The schools had 3 different racial makeups, majority white, majority African American, and racially diverse. 4. Who is more negative about interactions between races, young white or young black children?

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
