Grant-King 1 Jahlen Grant-King Mrs. Kirby AP Literature and Composition March 21, 2018 Dead Poet’s Society Enrichment Assignment After viewing the self-appointed cult classic film, “Dead Poet’s Society”, I’d have to say it’s overall good movie. Personally, I tend to stray away from enriching types of movies- primarily because I feel myself getting lost in the lectures and bored from the bemusement of society. To me, it’s easier to stay away from the obvious a ffl ictions caused by the directors lack of subliminal messages- everything’s spelled out for the viewer which ultimately ruins any sense of desired contemplation. At first Dead Poet’s Society seemed to follow this trend- it’s lack of conspiracy led me to believe this was just going to be some preachy literary based o ff an outdated novel that’ll have me bored out of my mind. In the end, I proved to be only half correct in my assumptions. Overall, it did conclude to be a preachy literary movie. When Mr. Keating, aka Robin Williams, isn’t
