5. IMAGINE:  It is now the year 2040 and you find yourself living in Tokyo and you have become a religious figure rapidly gaining a following. You decide it is time to form your own “new religion” that draws on characteristics of different Asian religions (but is based on the specific structure of Japanese “new religions”). What elements would you choose to include from the different religious traditions (you must be specific about where the elements come from)? What contemporary issues and concerns might those different elements address (you can hypothesize about a plausible future historical scenario)? Why would the religious elements or practices you chose to include be particularly well suited to address those concerns? If you choose to write on this prompt then you are required to discuss your ideas with your TF before you begin. Bringing the past with them, but also responding to new religions

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

I cannot even describe how much Course Hero helped me this summer. It’s truly become something I can always rely on and help me. In the end, I was not only able to survive summer classes, but I was able to thrive thanks to Course Hero.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
