ECE 220L02 March 08, 2015 Experiment #7 MOSFET and BJT Logic Inverters Executive Summary: Both the MOSFET and the BJT have been utilized extensively outside of the analog domain. They have been used for a plethora of various digital logic circuits where these circuits represent two ideal states. To name a few these states are referred to as true/false, high/low, 1/0 or on/off. Consequently, only two different voltage levels are required to represent each of the two different states. In this experiment both the MOSFET as well as the BJT will be used to demonstrate a particular digital circuit, or more specifically to represent a particular logic gate function. In this case that logic gate function will be a logic inverter. Out of all the experiments conducted so far, the circuits in this experiment will be the only ones where a logic low input voltage will produce a logic high voltage and vice versa, hence the reason why the circuits are logic inverters.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
