Pre-Lab Questions 1. What is the best method of contacting help in an emergency in your community? Call 911. 2. What should you do if you spilled a tiny amount of hydrochloric acid on your hand? I would flush the hand under running water for at least 20 minutes. 3. Describe a possible danger than can occur if you put food, soda, coffee, pencil erasers, etc. in your mouth while conducting your chemistry experiments? You could be putting yourself in harm’s way and possibly in contamination. We should always remember to not eat or drink in the lab environment and/or while conducting any type of experiment. We need to avoid ingesting harmful chemicals into our bodies. ©eScience Labs, LLC 2015 General Chemistry Lab Safety

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
