Dahyun Chae EDU291 Banned/challenged books essay Have you ever wanted to read books that are not allowed by children when you were young? I still remember when I was child I was always wondering why librarian checked my age to read certain type of books. While I was reading articles, I was thinking why there are banned or challenged books for children. Defining banned/challenged books is appropriate to do for children because they still don’t have steady standards for picking up good book. Children are children. That means they are still young. Children cannot be exposed to unfiltered contents from the books and any media. The books can have violent, sexual contents and children also can share feeling that through reading books. Some people say reading a book is always good and doesn’t need to be filtered or inspected. Even my parents and I still believe that because everything is in the books can be any kinds of knowledge for making children smart and creative but that is why the books should be filtered and inspected.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
