Review 2 Video Review As I begin watching the film I quickly realized that I had never witnessed this particular form of art. The question how does art and the use of his imagination seemed to function in Andy Goldsworthy’s life is a very complex one to say the least. Although the video was an hour and a half long it only scratches the surface of how he is connected to his chosen art form. At the very beginning of the video Andy says that “Art is a form of nourishment”. Whenever I hear someone say that, it becomes evident that he does not produce art because see wants, to he does it because he needs it. It is his way of expressing himself and connecting with nature. One thing that all of his pieces have in common is that they are all temporary. What this means is nature provides him the canvas and the medium to produce his art and then takes it away through the natural process. Andy also goes on to explain the two biggest influences in his art is the sea and river. He carries
