Revenue fraud Nine members of a notorious gang, Folk Nation Gang, Flatbush G-Stone, and 8-tray Crips gang in Brooklyn were sued after engaging in a bank fraud totaling to $94,000 which went on for nearly 2 years. The bank fraud involved with them depositing fake cheques and withdrawing the same amount before the bank realizes that the cheques are counterfeits. The scheme went down for a period of June 2014 to March 2016 ( DeGregory, 2017, February 16) The gang had 71 different accounts on different banks in which they used them to withdraw he counterfeits cheques from the bank of America, TD Bank, Capital One and JP Morgan Chase.
