Professional Role Attorneys use expert witnesses as the “secondary set of eyes” meaning they help in assisting reviewing and interpreting the information that is obtained from other witnesses in order to improve on the case ( Poynter, 2012). In the divorce case, I will be glad to play as an Expert witness. Not all information that is presented to the court will be understandable to the attorney. I will be present in order to break down the information for easy understanding. Divorce is a complex case and is comprised of a lot of information. I will be there to offer my service. Another role that I will play is to ask questions in advance to areas where the attorney has not been familiarizing with. Moreover, my role will be also be determining if the claim is valid or not, identify the strengths and weaknesses of the opposing attorneys and frame how I
