IT 510 Module Six 1 Module Six will address the last part of system analysis. In Modules Four and Five, the class discussed structured and object oriented system modeling methods. Also in Module Three, students explored gathering system requirements. Module Six uses the culmination of information of the analysis phase to complete the system analysis process and transition to system design. System Analysis Document The system analysis document is a comprehensive document including the output from the system requirements and the diagrams and documentation generated during the structured or object oriented design modeling. The document includes the executive summary, analysis recommendation, cost analysis, project plan, resource plan, timeline plan, alternate solution analysis, analysis model, and requirements. The document will be used to create presentations, gain project approvals, and further transition into system design requirements. Over the course of the system design, the system analysis document will be referenced and revisited as needed for items such as missing requirements, regulatory or legislative requirement changes, or any other overlooked aspect from the modeling phase. A best practice is to keep version control on the system analysis document, and always ensure the most current version of the document is available to the project as required. Alternate Solutions To this point in the analysis, the system has only been modeled. In some cases, a solution

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
