Academic Integrity 2 Academic Integrity Academic integrity the scholarship that is honest and responsible. Therefore, it involves the student producing and submitting his or her original work and giving credit to other people’s ideas. Academic integrity is an issue that most educational institutions take seriously. A good number of these institutions have put in place academic, moral codes to help engender academic integrity in those institutions. Boehm, Justice, & Weeks (2014) points out that academic institutions such as universities exist to create and contribute to knowledge, and this can only be attained if the highest level of academic integrity is observed. Academic integrity is a broad concept and constitutes a number of things. First, a student is expected to avoid cheating on academic evaluations or assignment. This means that the work submitted by a student should be his or her effort. A common way of cheating is for students to submit assignments done for them by other persons, or copying the work of their colleagues.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
