Global Warming 2 Global Warming Discussion My feelings about the need to combat global warming are hugely informed by my political philosophy. I am of the conviction that political processes have a role in making this world a better place for all of us and the future generation. To that extent, global warming is part and parcel of the issues threatening the future generation, and can only be addressed within the framework of political thinking. There is nothing wrong from developing a connection between political philosophy and the need to address global warming. First, global warming is a public interest issue, and political philosophies are critical in shaping the thinking around the action to be adopted to solve such problems. Therefore, political philosophy has to appreciate the magnitude of the problem and evoke the commitment needed to generate the solution. Unfortunately, most of the times, this is never the case. Part of this reason is because action needed to address global warming runs counter with the need to provide more jobs and opportunities to the population. My philosophy is anchored on the belief that there is no need to sacrifice the future for the sake of the present.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
