Change Management 2 One of the biggest challenges that organizations face while introducing new business practices such as technology, is resistance by employees. There are many reasons why employees may be resist change. It is therefore important that part of change management process must anticipate and deal with resistance. One thing that the company can do is to create enough awareness about the impending change. Lientz & Rea (2014) notes that during the change process, there is usually a lot of rumors swirling around. Hence, the organization has to communicate effectively so as to address any uncertainties that employees may be having. A better of way of doing this is to have frequent open meetings. Another measure that can be done is to choose, from employees themselves, change ambassadors. The role of change ambassadors will be to use their personal influence to market the change to colleagues, and explain why change is important. This way, communication is
