Laura HIggins Professor Elliot BIO 110 06 December 2017 A Family Decides About Genetic Testing Genetics of intelligence is a very touchy subject. Scientists do know that some traits of intelligence are hereditary and that some intelligence found in people may also come from a product of their environment. If scientists were to find a series of genes linked to intelligence and were able to do tests on certain embryos before they were implanted in a woman, then these certain embryos which are selected would produce children with a much higher intelligence. Therefore these children would have an advantage of getting into better schools, scholarships, higher test scores among many other advantages. If it were possible for us to give children the option of having greater intelligence, than we should use this capability so that these children have every advantage that is made possible. Parents definitely should be able to choose and test certain embryos for higher intelligence. This would give their children every chance to excel

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
