Payton Johnson “You’re Doing OK Mom” EH 091 This Johnson’s baby commercial has multiple babies “talking” to or about their moms. The babies express their appreciation and their love for their mom. They tell her that they understand that she’s new at this and that she’ll make mistakes. The title of this ad is “You’re Doing OK Mom”, which is saying “don't stress”. First time moms stress about the littlest things, but the babies are trying to explain to her that it’s okay. They list off everything Mom does perfectly then they jokingly add “except for the strained carrot incident”, but they understand that she’s not perfect. This ad has ethos and pathos. The ethos part is very strong. They show how our moms are the most important and powerful authority figure, how much we depend on them, and how they impact our lives. Pathos has two sides in this ad. One side is the babies expressing how much they love their mom and how they explain that we need our moms. That part really hits home with moms

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
