Aishwa Gohil ARCH 249 – 503 Extra credit 1. Hagar Qim I found this monument to be very impressive because of a lot of things. One of them being that this temple was run by women. The entrance of this temple was decorated and there was a lot of effort put into this decoration in order to distinguish this structure from other gods. The construction technique used for this temple was corbeled dome. Light came in through the shaft during the solstice which indicated that they were religious. They used solstices to know when to farm and when to not. This temple had sculptures representing fertility. There were not weapons in the temple which reflected that it was very peaceful and women warrior
