Additionally, respond in a thorough, substantive, intelligent way to at least one of your fellow classmates that adds to our discussion and learning of this week’s topic! 1) What are some questions you think that you would be asked initially on direct examination being qualified to testify as an expert? Some of the questions one would possibly be asked upon direct examination would be; a. What is my name for the record? To identify for the court exactly who I am. b. What is my relationship to the plaintiff/company? Employee, owner, hired investigator specifically for the purpose of the case brought before the court etc. c. What is my role within the company, or job status? d. What types of crimes or civil suits do I have experience in with regards to investigations, and how many have or have not led to helping prosecution teams, or defense teams? e. Where warrants obtained properly, and were there copies provided to the defendant? f. Was the Defendants read their right/ mirandized prior to speaking with, or executing the warrant? g. What was the specific evidence noted in the warrant, and were those items actually recovered from the scene searched?
