American author Mignon McLaughlin said, “A successful married life requires falling in love many times, but always with the same person.” The marriage relationship is central to all life; its condition and perspective affects the family, home, workplace, and church. Marriage can be as simple as loving selflessly and giving freely, but may seem as complicated as reading a spouse’s mind and becoming entangled in snarly emotions. Theology deeply affects marriage and its consequences, so applying right and wholesome theology to marriage is key to successfully relating to the person who holds your heart. As Treat mentioned in “Sports and Theology Part 2,” theology interacts with all areas of life in three important ways: defining purpose, maintaining identity, and contributing to ethics. 1 Marriage focused on righteousness in these aspects will further concentrate on appropriate prayer to foster a healthy relationship.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
