2 I. Introduction a. Very few people can be called a global citizen in today’s world b. Working for the benefit of one’s own country or community is very common but working for the benefit of other communities that are in need is very rare. c. Johns Hopkins and Prince Karim Aga Khan have both worked for the betterment of communities other than their own. II. Body a First Supporting Evidence I. “In 1870 he made a will setting aside seven million dollars — mostly in B&O stock — for the incorporation of a free hospital and affiliated medical and nurse's training colleges, as well as an orphanage for colored children and a university.” II. Johns Hopkins thought about the betterment of community other than his own. The establishment of an orphanage for colored children is a clear example of this.
