How does Harrah’s Entertainment assess information needs? Customer needs are the most important part of the Marketing Information System. To meet customer needs they must first understand what these customers like by gathering the necessary information. Through various tactics, Harrah’s Entertainment is able to gain insight into the needs and demands of their customers and are able to group them by their preferences. By doing this, they are able to effectively advertise services and products that are preferences of a particular group of customers.
