1. If a computer app beats you every time you play chess, is the computer smarter than you? Does your computer think? Explain why or why not in detail. An application of a computer can always win a game, such as chess, because computers can be faster than humans to solve problems. Computers have replaced humans in some jobs, for example, there are ATMs, cash registers in stores, etc. Although, I recognize that all of the above is true, I believe that computers are not smarter than people, since computers do not think. Computers are programmed by human beings, so humans are smarter because we think and design them. 2. Is free will possible if there is such a thing as God’s plan? Explain how humans can be free if a higher power knows what you are going to do before you do it. Free will is the power that people must make or choose their own decisions. Regarding the Catholic religion God has given us the possibility of having free will and that is why neither God nor destiny controls our life. In my opinion that's why there are murderers, terrorists, traffickers. Sometimes we wonder if there is a God, that is love, because there are these kinds of people in the world and how is it that God allows things to happen like war, terrorism, people who kill or rape children? Free will then be responsible for all these bad things that people do, because if there was a plan of God and human beings did not decide their own actions, then there would be no evil in this world. .

The paradox of Buridán's donkey seems hard to believe but think of someone

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
