1. What are some of the effects of being poor for kids? Describe what life is like for the kids shown in the video. Write at least two paragraphs describing the effects on children and teens. Some effects of being poor are starvation, health problems with no health care, lack of good clothing or shelter, and not being clean. Life for these kids is hard and dangerous, it also takes an emotional toll, one expressed that she was scared because she doesn’t know what will happen in life, another said that she got teased for the way she looked.
