Ariel Reid SCOM 4540 Journal Assignment #3 February 7, 2018 My family and I love to spend our free time on vacation, exploring new parts of the world and creating memories that will last a lifetime. Though vacation is something we all enjoy, we all have our own ideas on what should be done during vacation. To me shopping, exploring the city and relaxing on the beach is my ideal vacation. To my family, museums, historical tours and long walks around cities float their boat. After many years of, unhappy family members we came to a solution of writing down one thing we want to do in the city we are visiting and making sure everyone gets to do their one item. Cleaning… the word that brings joy to my mom’s ears and a word that brings dread to my life. Growing up my mom always micromanaged my room, she rummaged through my belongings, throwing out “junk” and made it her part time job to assist with the oversea how I cleaned my room.
