1. What happened in the investigation of the Madrid bombings with the fingerprint evidence? They examined the prints, ran them through the system and they ended up find a match in Portland. 2. What assumptions have been made about fingerprints? What are the problems with these assumptions? That there is only one person in the world that can have the same finger print. Turns out they were wrong. 3. How are fingerprint matches determined? The one at the crime scene is examined for unique characteristics, then they are compared with known finger prints. If there is enough similarities they will determine it to be a match. 4. How does the fingerprint analysis different on television versus reality? What role does the examiner play in real life? What problems are there with this? People do not make matches like they do on tv. People do. I t’s the examiners job to pay close attention to make sure the prints line up exactly so there isn’t a mistake

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
