I really enjoyed reading the study you chose. The idea to combine the justice system and adding core values can be revolutionary. The study appeared to be well organized, although information was limited due to no audio and small sample size. In this study from Moore, Barongi and Rigg (2017) it states, the central value of therapeutic jurisprudence is to construct the justice system such that its core values (such as justice and due process) are upheld while the psychological and/or physical health of individuals involved in the system are enriched. I am hopeful that more studies can be conducted in this area to possibly reduce drug addiction and have a positive influence on society. In an article by McCusker and Gunaydin (2015) states, advancements in knowledge synthesis and reporting guidelines enhance the quality, scope and applicability of results; thus, improving
