1. Willy - Pleases others through success - Breadwinner - John Newman: Love Me Again Willy Lowman is just an average man who wants to act as if he is something special. His personal satisfaction comes from what other people view him as and that is supposed to be one of the greatest salesmen to ever live. I chose Love me Again by John Newman because that is pretty much what the entire play is about. In a sense Willy wants Biff “to love him again” because of what he did in his past. 2. Linda - All trusting in husband - dependent -Say Something: It’s A Great Big World ft Christina Aguilera Linda Lowman seems to have no live outside of her husband’s. She is clearly oblivious to her husband’s whereabouts or maybe she downright rejects any doubt about him. She depends on Willy to make her happy even though he’s not as great as she makes him out to be. The lyrics “say something, I’m giving up on you” from It’s a Great Big World’s popular song say something, reminds me of how Linda reacts to Willy when she finds out he tried to commit suicide. She wants to talk to him about it but he always interrupts everything she says. 3. Biff - Strives to be accepted by father - conflicted - Clocks: Coldplay Being the offspring of a successful person is never easy. For Biff it means joining in the family business to become a great salesman like his father. Biff respected his father as a kid but felt
