Activity 4.4 Data Resource Management methods of today need to evolve as more types of data emerge, because data is being produced and stored at overwhelming rates. In order to keep up with these overwhelming rates data analysts along with data miners are due to come up with new data base structures in order for DRMS to evolve. The most popular data base structure, the relational model, is long overdue. I suggest in order for DRMS to evolve, they try a BETA of a new structure called Volt DB. Volt DB is a new in-memory OLTP (online transaction processing) system that is supposedly twice as fast as legacy options Oracle and SQL. From what I understand, it could very well be the future model of DRMS. The role of a data steward can be considered innovative; due to the extreme importance correct data can have on a business. Incorrect or misinterpreted data could lead a business in the wrong direction and result in huge losses to the company. A data steward’s ability to sift through terabytes of data and find new patterns could ultimately lead to new opportunities.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
