Explicit- rules are clear ***example: someone giving straightforward directions to a location . 5. Kinkeeper- helps maintain family traditions ***example: a mother in a traditional family, whose role is to take care of children. 6. Empty Nester- when all the parent’s children have grown up and left home ***example: a mom who has just dropped off her child at college. 7. Chaos- lack of consistent rules ***example: when the parents have different views of teaching and directing their children. 8. Implicit- rules are implied and not always clear ***example: for chefs, dicing vegetables is a routine task.
