What is the primary difference between text and email encryption on the two most popular smartphones? According to the speaker Christopher Soghoian, Apple products encrypt messages and emails end-to-end by default among Apple users, while Android phones do not encrypt their data by default. He is stating there is a lack of default security in Android, and it’s creating a problem. He believes there is a problem needing to ensure everyone in society the same benefits of encryption and to be equally able to protect themselves from surveillance by the state. One of his sources pointed out that most android devices do not receive regular, prompt security updates, if they receive updates at all leaving them vulnerable to hacking and forensic analysis.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
