Taco Bell History / Mission The first Taco Bell opened March 21, 1962, by founder Glen Bell. By 1975, Bell made a deal with PepsiCo, selling them his controlling shares of Taco Bell. PepsiCo opened its first international Taco Bell in Guam in 1977. Taco Bell would later be sold to Yum! Brands, a fortune 500 company that also owns Pizza Hut, KFC, and WingStreet. Our mission: "We take pride in making the best Mexican style fast food providing fast, friendly, & accurate service. We are the employer of choice offering team members’ opportunities for growth, advancement, & rewarding careers in a fun, safe working environment. We are accountable for profitability in everything we do, providing our shareholders with value growth.”

Our Goal Is expand the taco bell brand to Rio de janeiro, brazil. A city with a population of 6.3 million people, that we would like to introduce. To the “Tex-Mex” style food of Taco Bell.

Competition McDonalds: Has a large head start in terms of brand recognition, as they have been in operations in brazil since 1979. And already possess 1,308 stores in the country Burger King: Owned by a Brazilian business group named 3G, as of 2010, locals may lean toward buying from a fellow statesmen.
