Ranoi Price CIS121 - Logic and Design Ms. Morrison Week 2- 6/25 Research Assignment- Mark E. Dean Summary: Mark E. Dean was born on March 2, 1957 in Jefferson City Tennessee. He had a few people to look up to like grandfather, a principal at one the local high schools in the community, his father was a supervisor for the Tennessee Valley Authority Dam. Mark had the gift of creativity as a young helping his father build a tractor for scratch. He was a straight a student in high and an outstanding athlete. He continued his education at the University of Tennessee and graduated at the top of his class receiving a Bachelors of Science and Electrical Engineering in 1979. While working as an IBM engineer he received his Master’s Degrees in Electrical Engineering in 1982 from Florida Atlantic University. Shortly after receiving his degree he was promoted to chief engineer for IBM. He completed his doctorate 10 years later at the University of Stanford. Mark developed a color
