4.06 Foreign Policy Origins–How did the human rights issue come about? Who does it affect and how? How does it affect human rights? Human Trafficking in Thailand is extremely rapid. There are two common kinds of human trafficking that occur in Thailand. They are known as “sex slavery” and “labor”. This particular human rights problem most commonly came from those traveling from other nations to be free of poverty etc. The countries include Fiji, Russia, China, Vietnam, and Uzbekistan. These individuals are forced into sex slavery or labor. Millions of lives in Thailand are involved. To date, approximately 2,000,000 – 3,000,000 people that are migrant workers which get exploited because of this. Most people are from adjacent counties of Thailand. This holds significant impact on their own human rights. Everybody has the right to decide what they do but slavery / human trafficking violate those rights. How is the United States government responding to the issue?

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
