SCM 4350 Spring 2018 Course Number and Title: SCM 4350: Supply Chain Management Capstone Credit Hours: 3 CRN 24038 MW 5:30-6:45 Room B114 Catalog Description: In-depth study of purchasing, materials management strategy, and the decision making processes used. This includes case studies to explore the formulation of purchasing strategies and decision making processes. Examines the latest research in purchasing and materials management planning and strategy and covers the knowledge essentials needed to meet the Certified Professional Supply Manager (CPSM) examinations. Prerequisites: BA 3300, 12 hours of purchasing courses or instructor approval Prerequisite (s) ARE NOT optional, pre-requisites ARE requirements or courses that must be completed PRIOR to taking the course. The prerequisite(s) for this course are described in the UHD catalog course description as:(BA 3300, 12 hours of purchasing courses or instructor approval) It is the students’ responsibility to insure that they meet the prerequisites prior to enrollment in this course. not meet the pre-requisites he/she may be administratively withdrawn from the course at any time. The administrative withdrawal will result in NO REFUND of tuition and fees because it appears that the student knowingly enrolled in the course in violation of the Catalog requirements. Any variance in pre-requisite requirements or this policy must be obtained in writing from the Department Chair prior to enrollment in this course.
