They are brought up in a bad neighborhood or by a gang violence. They don’thave much in life they are all on their own. The trouble youth don’t get guidance like kids like me and have everything perfect in life. One kid named Laquan Mcdonald was asked a question of what every child get rather than a toy or a hug his answer was “punched”. (Gutowski). Many trouble kids don’t have both parents or either parent many are raised in foster care or a group home. Children from environments filled with violence and poverty often face tragic deaths to save them from this fate DCFS should provide better help for these kids. However DCFS cannot solve the problems alone. School must provide interventions for these kids as well help them become better kids. They need to help these kids get through school not shot. These trouble kids many are getting killed or just end up in bad situations because no onehelps them. They don’t think what right to what's wrong they just do what will keep them safer they think. That why many of these trouble kids go to the resort of joining a gang. When they have nowhere else to turn they need something in their life or maybe look to these gangs for protection or as a family. Many of these kids gang association backfires though when they are too young and can’t live on their own they get put in foster homes or group homes. Bad thing about some of these group homes some are in gang territories or right where gangs meet. One kid

Pleshar 2Dai’Jonn Danzy was hospitalized after being shot multiple times. He placed in one home and told the inspector and I quote “Too many MOS,” (Gutowski). Referring to the other gang he saysthere to many of them around by the foster home he is staying in. He had to go to therapy for many problems. The therapist asked him what he feared the most Danzy answer “nothing but dying”(Gutowski). Some of these kids are being put in foster homes around gangs which it putting them in more danger. Maybe these kids could have been saved if they had something likethe BAM program. If they had these instructors helping them turn their lives around these troubled kids would still be here.
