Since I was in high school, I was studying economics, then continued with my studies in business administration program and finally enrolled in an international business program through which I expand my knowledge and skills gradually. Through all these years, I was shaping my skills, my goals, my opinions, mine believes and my behaviour. I have learned from my personal mistakes and I have developed my thoughts in a different way. I have been studying many business subjects, but this course took my attention. I have learned that the effective business communication is an essential tool not only for the business success, also for increasing the personal awareness. In this essay, I will demonstrate my personal application of two different types of communication situations with divergent results that have had influence my studies and professional development. This self-reflection essay will outline the types of communication circumstances that I am confronting in my life. Furthermore, I will examine both circumstances in the communication presumption and analyse my feelings and my behaviours in that situations. Moreover, I will evaluate my behaviours in certain circumstances and provide resolutions for future activities. Reviewing the program, it will provide me an opportunity to use some of the communication methods and to put in practise in my current workplace, also it will help me to overcome some communicational barriers that I have. The process of any communication is understood as any behaviour which is considered as a verbal, non-verbal or graphic. It represents the crucial element in the organization which helps the company to sustain and coordinate the operations. Learning this concept have helped me to improve my communication skills, especially in the workplace. Therefore, I have chosen two specific topics such as identifying the purpose of the communication and applying the Transaction Model of communication at my current position at the workplace. The journal Article which I referred was the “The investigation of Verbal Workplace Communicating Behaviours” and the main idea which I identified in this article was that there are factors which have a significant impact on the communicating behaviours between employees in the workplace. expressing negative emotions and communicational behaviours will help me to understand the intention of the colleges or managers at the workplace. Identifying the concept of the purpose of communication it is crucial for establishing, building, and maintaining the relationships with peers, superiors, subordinates, and clients. As a customer service representative understanding the purposes of communication are very important in my workplace, and learning those concepts will help me to improve my communication skills with my supervisors and also will improve my interaction with the customers.
